Do you want to help us out?
You can help out in several ways. One way is by becoming a member of the YHS, which requires an annual fee. As a member you will receive our quarterly newsletter, The Yonkers Historian, as well as invitations to events. We also need docents to help out at the historic Sherwood House Museum. The museum is only open on Sundays during the Spring and Fall seasons from 1 PM to 4 PM. Another way, you can help is by volunteering. If you have gardening skills, you would be especially helpful at Sherwood House on Tuesdays during the Spring, Summer, and Fall when we tend to the grounds at Sherwood House. We could also use volunteers at events. Donations are another great way to help. You can donate money or items for our flea markets to Sherwood House directly during our open seasons or you can make a monetary donation to the YHS. The first step is yours.
