YHS Annual Gala Dinner - 2023
We are pleased to announce our annual dinner will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The location will be the Fairways at Dunwoodie (shown below), where it has taken place in the past, located at 1 Wasylenko Lane, Yonkers, NY 10701.

Cocktail hour will be from 6 PM - 7 PM, while dinner will be served from 7 PM - 9 PM.

In 2022, we honored our very own Mayor Mike Spano. The event was held at the Fairways at Dunwoodie.
2021
The annual dinner for this year was postponed, so it will not actually take place this year. See the information for 2022.
2020
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 most events were cancelled or postponed in 2020. There was no annual dinner.
2019
On Thursday, October 3, 2019, the Yonkers Historical Society Dinner will hold our Annual Dinner / Dance at the Fairways at Dunwoodie. The dinner will celebrate the Sherwood House's 35th anniversary as a National Historic Place.

2018
On Thursday, October 4, 2018, the Yonkers Historical Society Dinner was held at the Fairways at Dunwoodie. The dinner celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Society's first antique show and sale. Awards were presented to:
- Volunteers of the Year - The Yonkers Auxiliary Police
- Corporate Citizens - Curto's Appliances
- Community Advocate - State Senator Shelly Mayer

2017
The Yonkers Historical Society held its Annual Dinner on Thursday, September 28th 2017 at the Fairways at Dunwoodie, 1 Wasylenko Lane, Yonkers, NY. The 2017 dinner celebrated the Sherwood House’s 55th year as a museum, and honored recipients of several awards including:
- Historic Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse – Simone Development Companies
- Volunteers of the Year – Friends of Philipse Manor Hall
- Corporate Citizen Award – Yonkers Rising
Proceeds from the dinner will support continued maintenance and repair of the Sherwood House Museum.
