Candlelight Tours Weekend Event!!!

Every year at the beginning of December, the Yonkers Historical Society holds its annual Candlelight Tours at the historic Sherwood House Museum to celebrate the holiday season. Admission is free and there will be holiday sales at the Cottage Gift Shop, where souvenirs, books, and unique merchandise are sold. Snacks and refreshments will also be made available. Free parking is available on the grass.
In the past, volunteers have worn historic costumes and Christmas carols were sung by the Male Glee Club. There have also been book signings, sculptor exhibits, special guests, and other great experiences. Each year is different and great holiday fun for the whole family.
Donations are most welcome and greatly appreciated. All donations go toward the improvement and continued maintenance of the museum and its ever aging structures and exhibits.
