Become a Docent

We are always looking for a few good helping hands, who are willing to sacrifice a few hours on a Sunday!
As a docent you can help out in a great way by giving tours of the museum and interacting with visitors on a personal level. Each year we find ourselves in need of new docents and welcome the opportunity to enlist eager people with a love for history. If you believe that is you then please contact us and find out how you can start making a difference at one of the oldest farm houses in Westchester County.

Sherwood House is usually open on Sundays during the Spring and Fall from April-June and September-December between 1 pm-4 pm. Volunteers are also usually there on Tuesdays throughout most of the year from around 10 am-2 pm. Feel free to stop by and ask how you can become a docent.

You can also visit us on Thursdays at:
Grinton I Will Public Library Auditorium

1500 Central Park Avenue
