Sherwood House was closed for the entire year in 2020, which was unprecedented. Sadly, the co-vid virus affected us all in so many ways. Thankfully, we were able to reopen in September of 2021. This year, things have finally returned to normal!
During that long time the museum was closed, we had some extensive repairs and renovations done to the north face of the main house and the parlor within. More work was done in the cottage during the summer of 2022. We cannot wait for you to see how much nicer the house is looking.
We hope you will visit soon, while continuing to make the much-needed donations we require to keep this historic museum going for future generations. Thank you.
This month on Sunday, October 23 and October 30, will be our Halloween tours. We hope you will stop in for a visit. There will also be a new Sherwood House Halloween book available in the gift shop called, "The Scarecrow of Sherwood Farm," written by Jason Medina. The books are $20 each, but there are only a limited number of copies, so get your copy and don't miss out!
