The Yonkers Historian

The Journal of the Yonkers Historical Society

YONKERS HISTORIAN EDITOR: MARK SILBERBLATT
WEBSITE DIGITIZING: JASON MEDINA

The Yonkers Historian newsletters have been published by the Yonkers Historical Society since the mid-1990s with an average of 2-4 issues per year. Prior to that, the newsletters were published in a slightly smaller format as Yonkers Bulletins. Originated by Yonkers Historical Society president at the time, Frank L. Walton, The Yonkers Bulletins date back to the mid-1950s. As with the current newsletters, they featured articles about Yonkers sometimes written by board members.

In this new age of digitizing, our ultimate goal will be to have each issue of The Yonkers Historians and Yonkers Bulletins digitized and posted here as PDFs, which will be free to download for all our website visitors. Please, be patient for this time consuming process, which is being conducted by our Archive Committee. Stay tuned for updates.
