A Historic View of Yonkers Through Video

Yonkers is an old city and as an old city it is rich with a wonderful history. What better way to learn that history than through seeing videos containing historic images and actual footage from the city's early days?

Michael Stephen Gross is a local historian who has dedicated his free time to creating such videos. He then posts them onto his YouTube channel and shares them through social media. This video was originally created/posted in 2014. In 1902, the Yonkers Board of Trade published a book entitled Yonkers Illustrated. This slideshow updates photos from that book with photos of the same locations, taken by Michael Stephen Gross between 2008-2015.
